SPF 45 and water to keep hydrated. If you considering selling the car .... do it!

overexposure to the sun causes skin cancer. polutants in the air you breathe cause lung cancer. your s2000 does not cause skin or lung cancer.

I'm brown skinned and I live in a medium sized city (150,000). I don't have to worry about pollutants getting crazy. However, I do get darker and darker whenever I drive with the top down in the middle of West Texas.

Answer: NO.

The UV rays cause skin cancer. As far as I know, no cars produce UV rays harmful enough to cause skin cancer.

I've actually noticed that bad smells dissipate quicker in an convertible than in a normal car with windows up or down.

Like others have said, I'm more worried about said 18-wheelers and trucks not seeing me than breathing in the exhaust fumes.

Oh and I always carry sunscreen in the trunk and there's always a gas station nearby for water.

The S has been documented to cause artificial insemination. Just be careful out there.

Wow, first troll thread I've seen on these forums...

At least, I hope it's a troll thread... because to worry about such trivial things would be ridiculous.

PS: SPF50 in my glove box (I'm Irish, burn easily )

For what its worth I remember there being a poster in my workplace for a government campaign showing/stating the air is cleaner outside the average car (non convertible of course) than inside the car so if anything this makes the s2000 pretty healthy. I believe the poster showed a woman sitting in a car in a traffic jam

...........but then who trusts the government
