I'm not completely enamored with its looks.

I think this deserves to be revived.

It gives me attitude, and I do drive more aggressively. With that comes some responsbilitiy though- I feel as though I need to set and example to some extent. I.e. I proabably take more risks than the average person, so I need to be that much better of a driver. I've screwed up maybe twice in 4 years and at least 200,000 miles (not all in the S (not an accident. once I almost ran a red light, stopped about 4 feet over the line... and once (don't ask me how) i started off from a red light whilst it was still red. thank god no one was traveling in the other directions...), and I'm always harder on myself than everyone else in such cases.

yea, the attitude I have is I'm gonna get ran over by that SUV with a women driving who's on the phone!

But I always have that "I'm single" swagger doesn't matter what I'm driving. I've picked women up in my 92 GMC Z71 (dirty of course) and I don't care.

I have a few friends like me with that "quit playing, get your a$$ in" attitude.

If anything the S has made me more lax, and not worry about what others think. When i had my Integra I would race every ricer on the street. Sadly I would lose most races because it was stock, but I always felt like I had something to prove, especially when I pulled up to a totally riced out civic.

Now, I only race more sophisticated cars like the wrx (not sti) and the rsx. But most of the time i'm usually just cruising on down the road, something I could never do in my Integra.

I do not own an s2000 yet but hopefully I do tomorrow.

My friends found out what car I'm about to purchase. I guess they discovered this by reading my away messages. They see me as a car guy. I am infatuated with automobiles. Anyway, some even said they 'hate me.' I even said, I won't change because of a car and I'm sure I won't.

Well, just goes to show you how others think when they see you in a nice car. I am sure he was half-joking but I could see a little jealousy. In fact, he drives a BMW 325i his parents bought him so I don't see where his jealousy is coming from.

Happy Driving

holy ****, how'd you even find this thread?!

Well I definitely feel proud of the car. I've noticed lately that every time I've washed and detailed the car, walking away from it (like parking it somewhere) I keep on looking back and admiring it. Even at school when I park in the morning it's like I'm just stuck looking at it.. as if it was some new or 'exotic' car. I know there are a lot more expensive cars at school but I definitely love my S. I sometimes have an attitude when I drive but am mostly humble about it. It's more of a sense of pride and happiness than anything else.

Personally I don't walk any different towards my car, just FASTER so I can drive it a couple of seconds earlier.

My attitude has changed a little because of the cars capability's.
But often enough I think: "I could shift down to 2nd and overtake them all... but I'm not going to. But if I wanted to I could".
Last Friday driving back from work I didn't stop myself.
I was stuck behind a truck and 4 cars, one of them an old BMW M5, with "garage plates", most lileky on a test drive.
I guess they had something else to talk about for the rest of that testdrive.
