Just a random poll. I feel it does look more expensive than it really is.

Intersting poll.

today we had a fire drill at work. So where does everyone from my division go? Thats right the back of the lot where I park my car (very inconspicuous location)

So I spent the next 5 minutes explaining to my coworkers that "no i am not independently wealthy" and and "no you cannot have a ride because i left my keys to burn in the building"

On a related note:

Its funny, I never catch adults looking at the car that much, but the kids in my neighborhood just stop and stare everytime I drive by.. maybe they're the only ones that get it. I'm sure everyone else just thinks i'm just another yupi dusche. (the techno can't help)

I catch adults looking, even snobbish BMW owners peaking out of the sides of their heads.

I think the car behaves more expensive than it is too.

I get the feeling it looks cheaper then it is.
Because it badged a Honda and I don't think the public expects Honda's to be +30k. At least not the average person - none of us are average.

if 911's had cost 20k for last 20 yrs, then it would look cheap too. the point is that the price of something affects how pricey it looks. the tiburon kinda looks like a ferrari, but everyone knows it's cheap. i think the S looks good, but i know how much it costs and it spoils my opinion of it. i guess you'd have to put a porsche, benz and the S next to each other with no badges showing and ask a child or an adult that knows nothing about cars.

It depends on where (country) you buy it.
