Mine does it every time I change lanes and hit the little lane titties. I agree that this should not happen. Even the cheapest personal CD player has shock protection. I understand if I hit a big pothole or something, but those little bumps between the lanes should not make it skip IMO.

This weekend was the first time I ever heard my CD player skip. I hit a pretty big bump though.

When I had the stock head unit it never skipped as well as my current head unit (pioneer). The CD Changer (OEM) did skip initially but that was because they (the dealer) didn't switch it from horizontal to vertical (or vice versa).

Moyo and Molly your CD should not skip when going over the drunk bumps....

Uh, there's a CD player?

Just kidding. I haven't even tried the CD player yet, and I rarely listen to the radio in this car. I like to listen to the music of the engine and the exhaust. I'm also going crazy and always listening for damn transmission problems!

It has never skipped. Even when hitting some monster pot holes here in Dallas
