sup guys...im the person that had that accident....lookin at the pics..what happened i dont know...but i did know that my tires were badly bald and i would NOT run in the rain going 75+mph ...the tree did a major impact on the car..i don't know how....but by the looks of it... my front tires are still new..but my rear tires were very badly bald(touching it was smooth, no grip)....the road was a
35mph road...(down bellaire of houston; by sharpstown mall) the tree i hit is slim..its still standing unharmed also...bad of luck..i just recently changed my clutch to an ACT performance because my clutch burn't out and had done a custom front Cwest style bumper (covered up the fog light holes) running on some Espelir's on my car...i was ready to snap some images before it got totaled....luckily i woke up with just a dislocated right arm...no scratches or burn marks from the airbag...i'm probably buying the car back from the insurance people..parts will be for sale if this happens....
BTW --- I'm 19..Very careful driver
Car Specs:
01' Honda S2K
17000 miles - Engine still spankingly new! (no harm to the engine..only drivetrain)
ACT clutch system
Bridgestone S'03's front still good, rear is gone
Amuse lip (old setup) --sold
Cwest custom full body kit (front is cracked from accident)
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...224633&hl=cwest
it sure is clean with the fog light holes covered up...
car located at "Deluxe Auto Sales & Body" -- Uncle's shop in houston (next to Hong Kong Mall)
I'm currently working at Spek Auto Bodyshop by the Hong Kong Mall also if you know...
Instead of learning your lesson you make excuses.
Forgive my generalizations and stereotypes but such things exist for a reason:
1) You're 19
2) Your nick
3) Your mods
4) Your lame excuses (bald tires and 35 mph)
All of these add up to a very specific kind of driver mentality. What happened, was not due to your bald tires, an evil tree, a wet surface or an evil twist of fate.
You f***ed up. Plain and simple.
Don't make excuses. Own up to what you did and learn your lesson so it doesn't happen again. You have been given an opportunity to live and learn...make the most of it.

I know there are a lot of young guys on this site, so I hope the pictures serve their purpose and provide a rude awakening. Drive safe. Don't drink and drive either... I think this is what this young man was doing at the time.....

One of the reasons that a Plymouth Superbird is one of the rarest cars out there is that guys were wrecking them quicker than they were being made. If Honda quits making S2K and guys keep wrecking them we should have a collectors car in about 10 years. I appreciate you guys raising the value of my car, just don't hurt yourselvesdoing it.
