Default DONT BUY WORK WHEELS!

So when I went to West End Alignment where Darin adjusted my alignment (awesomest alignment place), Darin pointed out that my rear rim had a clean cut crack straight through one of my spokes. While inspecting the wheel there is NO SIGN of shock/impact i.e. bent rims/curbing or anything!!! Also the crack is at a spot that would only crack do to twisting of the spoke, and we all know hondas have so much torque in stock form!!

So I called Works USA to see if they are able to help me out with this situation as it is quite obvious it is a manufactore defect. The first time I called they said since I bought them from my friend I need to prove that they were purchased from an authorized dealer with a recipt etc etc. and that even though warranty is over they would be able to set up a deal for me for a replacement. So a day later I found the recipt, called again and now they are just giving me the finger basically saying your wheel is out of warranty and that "you're on your own". WTF!! I also pointed out what if I were to die and it was proven it was because of the faulty rim, he gave me the BS that Works has a disclaimer WTF!!! this is the WORST service I have ever recieved from a name brand company. apparently WORK WHEELS doesnt care about customer satisfaction, they're only in the business to sale deffective wheels and not care if you die. DO NOT GIVE WORK WHEELS YOUR BUSINESS

Nice Chuck Taylors.

Sucks about the wheel. Just imagine a trackday on that wheel and having it explode..............

Not even two years old.

OK DONT READ MY POST, go buy work wheels and have them break down on you, im here trying to inform my fellow enthusiast and i get lurkers that have nothing better to do then give negative repsonses. if dunt got nothing good to say then dont. PLUS im sure you yourself already took information from my thread and would reconsider works now (my initial plan), so carry on.

I've had such bad luck with name brand companies for my truck, I don't even expect any CS at all when buying aftermarket parts

I needed another set of covers for my PIAA lights in front on my truck because the other ones cracked. 6 emails later, I get a response, they say they will send some out..NO SHOW. I also needed a bracket that snapped off, never sent that either! I got pissed and MIG welded one on my own. Never again will I buy from PIAA

Another time I was trying to contact Weld Racing for warranty info on a noisy center cap. mulitple emails, zero response. I finally fixed it myself! I will never buy from Weld Racing again.

OT but companies I've had great CS experiences with are Surefire, EVGA, Amazon, and Dell.

i would expect this from knock offs or smaller companies liek rota, but not a big wheel manufacture like works, i used to rated them up near volks, but not anymore
