OH NO a cracked use wheel! Never had a problem with my work wheels. Just to let you know how strong they are.. I hit a pot hole going 80 and bent the rim. The rim still held air and it was only bent 1-2mm. The impact was so hard it bent my suspension and the wheels still did their job and got me home. My friend hit the same pothole a week later (on a major highway) and he shattered his cast buddy club wheels.

Sorry you had such bad luck w/ ur wheels man but despite the fact that they're work wheels, If it aint forged then i dont care who makes it, it's not gonna take much to break 'em. Believe me i've cracked my wheels on several occasions. One thing you dont wanna do is try to patch it up. Jus pay for a new wheel.

On a different note. I'm in the market for some work meister s1 wheels. Can someone recommend a distrubtor i can contact for a price quote?? Sorry for the thread jack but this thread has in no way dissuaded me from getting work wheels..

Sorry to read about your situation, but...

I've never had any problems with my Work (Meister) wheels, and the customer service I recieved was fantastic! It was through a different vendor/distributor.

This is the first thread I have ever read about issues with Work wheels and their customer service, so I don't think it's a common issue. It doesn't reflect on Work anyway. I agree with what others have said- the problem is with the vendor, or with you.

it's a year out of warranty and you expect them to replace it for free??? which part of that makes sense to you?
