Let's be specific here. AKH Trading is Work USA, you are dealing with AKH Trading, they are setting their own rules and providing you with the bad Customer Service. Blame AKH not Work.

First, take a shot of that thing in your avatar. Then, yeah, you might want to try contacting Work Japan directly. Let them know the crappy service you're getting from Work USA. Then, take another shot...

uhh.. your wheel is out of warranty. why do you expect them to do anything about it for free? whats the point of a warranty period when they'll just replace everything for free even outside of the warranty period?

first things first
WORK warantee is 1 year from purchase date,

SECOND,

your wheels are the CHEAPEST wheels work makes, no way shape or form are they forged, their simply cast.

THIRD

you bought them grey market, i.e. not from a dealer but from a friend.

THE WARRANTEE ON WORKS STRICTLY STATES FROM MANUFACTURERS DEFECTS, YOU NOR THEM KNOW IF ITS MANUFACTURERS DEFECTS BECAUSE A PERSON OWNED THEM BEFORE YOU AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY DID TO THEM.

so before you get on your high horse trying to make work wheels look bad,

buy nicer rims, not bottom line wheels
buy new from a dealer so u can have warrantee
calm down and just buy a new one, their like 310 msrp... like cheap as hell, call evasive and talk to mike/ed

That's odd. I have Work wheels on my S and 3 sets for my Civic which sees track duty with them on and have never had an issue at all. The Meister S1's on my S have seen horrible roads in Los Angeles and no problems.
