I took my mom for a drive a few weekends ago, and I called her last night and she went and looked at the Z3's. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, since I know the S is so much better than the Z3, but also, I want to be the only one in my family to have one

I also pointed her to the link of the Z4, nothing.

What should I do?

She drove it for an hour, didn't VTEC at all either. I showed her what it would do and all she said (referring to VTEC) "Don't do that again or I'll pee my pants."

I think if I were in the same position as you:
1.) defintely make her pee, but cover your seat with something before she get in...
2.) don't want my mom to have the same car as me. One of the reasons I went with the s2000 is that there really aren't that many on the road, compared to other cars.

 

Now go top speed when nobody else is there and don't stop until you are ready for the exit.
