That "April Fools Day joke" thing was on the basis that 2006 is the LAST year. If there will be a 2007, then it was just a joke and the mag articles were simply speculation and not a decree.

Well it's expected that the S would last for at least another year, being that they made some pretty significant changes to the '06. By extending the S for another year, this would help drive the aftermarket to start making more products to accomodate the new intake/exhaust changes as well, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

What I am worried about is that the S might end up having the same fate as the NSX, as cars like the Sky Redline and the Solstice GXP with higher performance numbers and lower MSRP will drive sales away from Honda.
