Default Door Glass

I want to remove the window tint on my 01' door glass. I will not be able to remove all the sticky residue without removing the glass itself as the tint goes down quite far (I want to do it right). I will probably take it to the dealer and have them remove the glass so I can take the tint off. Is it a labor intensive job ?

I would take the interior door panel off which would give you access to the inside of the window without the rubber in place and make is so you would drip any solvent on the panel itself. That is what they did to put then tint on the the first place.

Yup just pop the door panel off, it's only 2 screws in the door handle(behind the pop out pieces), 1 in the release handle, and I think one clip at the top of the panel. About a 2 minute process tops.

Removing the door panel is a cake walk. Pulling off the window is not a problem. Removing the tint and glue might take some time without proper solvents.

My tint has a scratch. I'll be doing this soon.
