Default door height & resting your arm on it

I'm not an S2000 owner yet, I still need to get over the new car worries.

I'm only 5'8" or 5'9" (its been quite a few years since I last checked) am wondering if it is comfortable to rest your arm on the top of the door when the window is rolled down (while driving of course). Or is the top of the door simply too high?

My other concern is what I would look like in the car from the outside? Being 5'8", will I just appear as a head behind the steering wheel, or could other people see my upper body? I don't have any muscles to show off; I just don't want to look like a granny behind the wheel - barely able to see out the car.

i am your height and it isn't comfy to rest the arm at the top of the door. You'll have shoulder problems if you do that..

I'm 6'4" (basically as tall as you can be and still fit) and it is uncomfortable resting your arm on the window...

minor inconvenience...

it doesn't fit right - that is correct. want to sit in the most comfortable - door-arm-height type of car? try out a Miata. The next choice, before the S would be a Boxster.

I'm 6', and it's some what uncomfortable to rest my arm there. Just to tell you, when I see my self in the window reflections while I'm driving my car, all I see is my head and maybe a tiny bit of my shoulders. Wait actually, just the head. haha so just a little info for you.

5'10", and I find it uncomfy to rest my arm on top of the door. It's the design, maybe to protect the driver from road debris or flying burritos...

The deep sports seat plays a role here, too.

I like it only because it makes rather difficult for fellow drivers to examine yo face...not that I have a face of a monster.

If you keep both hands on the wheel (necessary during any spirited driving) you won't be resting your arm anyway.

Honda wants you to keep both hands on the wheel. This is a driver's car all the way.

I am 6'1/6'2 and have no problem with resting my arm on the door. You think this car is bad try an Audi TT.
