Default Door Mirrors do they fold back?

Simple question but do the door mirrors on the S2000 fold back for safety when parking in conjested areas etc....
I have attempted to fold mine back but the resisitance to doing so is so strong that I have the feeling if i continue I will end up with one portable door mirror!!
Owners manual gives no hints!!!

yes but if you have to park where you need that extra inch, it's better to park somewhere else rather than risk doors hitting you...

Cheers guys all answers have been very helpful. To be fair when parking we always attempt to park in the open spaces, but that seems to attract other vehicles like a magnet.

But on reversing into my drive I only have approx 2 inches clearnce on the mirrors through the gates, and now that we have snow the odd slide is not out of the question so to know they do fold is geat.

Will lift prior ro move..

Thanks again Have a good time

I've had to push mine back into place a couple of times. It really isn't other cars that are apt to hit your mirrors but pedestrians bumping into them as they walk or squeeze by.

i wouldn't bother folding them in.. i would rather get a mirror hit then my door... but then again i have APR mirrors which don't stick out a whole lot..

There was a member in the wash and wax forum who ended up replacing a mirror or two because he folded them for every wash. They're not meant to be moved regularly.

I think they are not "folding mirrors," but for safety they will move.

Just in case you try to run somebody over and missed, the person will not get hurt.
