I wonder if the dealership would be upset if I started taking the door apart on the showrrom floor...

I personally dont think its a good reason, and I have 100+lbs of extra electronic/stereo equipment in my car. The point is, this is a loud car. When you bought it, you know this. Things like lightweight doors are something that makes the car what it is. Sure you can add 50lbs of sound deadening material, but I think it robs of what this car is. The doors dont let any extra sound in. If you dynamat to get rid of some road noise, so be it, but for a nicer thud? Hey listen, if you are happy, its all good.
Honda put a shitty radio in the car on purpose. The point is, this is a loud car. Honda didn't want the radio to interfere with all the glorious noise coming through the thin doors. Sure you can add 100 lbs of stereo equipment, but I think it robs of what this car is. So you add a bunch of speakers, amps etc, so be it, but for a nicer sounding radio?

Just messin' with ya! Point is...everyone has different priorities with this car. I wouldn't spend a dime on aftermarket audio equipment because it just doesn't matter to me. However, I can totally understand why you might want a better sound system just as much as I can understand why the OP might want a better insulted door.

Well...I dont think its the same. I sit in traffic a lot. Also, music is something that I find important on a nice long drive. The fact that you cant hear it when you drive past 30mph is a big negative to me, and makes the car less enjoyable. However, doors that dont close like vaults are not something I find to be an issue that makes the car less enjoyable. Like I said, it's your car, mod as you see fit.

You sit in traffic a lot; I open and shut my doors a lot. You upgraded your stereo, I upgraded the way my doors sound when they're shut.
