Door/window weatherstrip question
At the back of the door, where the weatherstrip comes up from the bottom, it appears to taper to a nice seal around the back of the window. Unfortunately, this seal is tearing on the inside, towards the front.
It looks like a rather thin piece of gasket material, and I'm not sure whether reinforcing it is a good idea, as the seal the window makes with the top may suffer.
Has anybody experienced this problem? Any ideas on what to do about it (especially before winter comes)?
Thanks in advance.

My window seals went bad on me. They stared collecting rain and leaking inside the car. I got a whole new set of window and windshield seals from Hardtopguy...problem fixed!
I'd suggest replacing the seals, but gasket material might be a temporary fix

I think this is a common problem and pretty much everyone has that little, think piece of weatherstripping tear. I think it's a non-issue. Go out and drive your car, you'll forget about such minor issues by the time you hit second gear.
