You can even change gears without clutching if you're good enough.

Full throttle...let throttle go and at the same time push the stick slighlty towards next gear...when it feels lighter pull it out and at the right revs push it into next gear.

Just for info...I don't recommend it...I used to do it on my older cars when I was too lazy to engage clutch.

I had to learn it because the lever of the clutch of one of my cars broke some years ago so I had to drive around with no clutch.

Donwnshifting works as well but not that good.

I tried it once on my old 2000 S2000...worked there aswell.

Fastest upshifting for those street racing guys...push until rev limiter and at first fuel break push the clutch without leaving the foot from the accelerator an put in next gear. You have to be VERY FAST AND PRECISE.

But like I said...please don't do it with your S2000...it hurts if you don't do it right.

Don't do it unless you have to.

I feel already bad that I wrote this here...

I used to occasionally shift without the clutch in the Formula I used to own, mostly just to maintain the skill in case I ever had to use it. I don't recommend doing it on a regular basis.

I don't think you can drive a car without a working clutch. For sure you can up and downshift without using the clutch, I've done it in my S2000 and do it all the time in my Audi A4.

That being said it's impossible, as far as I know, to start your car from a dead stop without a clutch, unless you can get the car rolling down a hill or something. From a dead stop it's not possible without f..cking up your tranny.
