engine is maxed out alright, but i think we(US) have less hp because of emission controls, it's stricter here.

As far as I understand, AP1 and AP2 refers to the chassis code not the body code. Of course, having an AP2 chassis also means you have an AP2 body style so your explaination is right in a literal sense, but not in a technical one

What's the big deal with RHD..?
It's fashionable.

RHD in the US is like those guys that leave the tags on the baseball hats.

The JDM version of the F20C has slightly higher compression than the NADM (or USDM) F20C's, so they make a little more power. I think it's because of the octane rating of the gasoline in the various markets.

Right hand drive does have one advantage in the US. We usually run our road races clockwise, so we spend more time turning right than we spend turning left, and right hand drive puts the drivers weight on the inside of the turns more often. LOL, I don't know how much of an advantage it is in a car that is properly corner weighted, but lots of Spridget racers use to prefer the RHD cars, and that was always their explination.

People say the JDM models have a slightly higher compression ratio of 11.4 compared to 11.0. But I do not know for sure. It's okay, either way I'm happy I've got an S2K.
The JDM comes with a thinner head gasket resulting in higher compression and are rated higher. This is possible because of the higher octane rating of fuel available.

best colour and engine IMO
