About the only thing you can really do is notify your local police and then notify HIS local police as to the scam. Then you wait and see.
There was no scam!
You obviously didn't read the original post, nor do you have a clue who DC_AP1 is. It's not as though the brakes were paid for and never sent out, UPS gooned midnightsuns by whatever means (losing the package, leaving package on doorstep without signature, etc.)

Good luck getting much out of UPS. A few years back they destroyed about $5000.00 worth of paintball guns sent to my shop. It took me something like eight months to get a check.

I don't believe blaming UPS is totally correct. I've filed claims of up to $1100 with them in the past and always got paid. It took upwards of 4 months but it was paid eventually. The key is the insurance or declared value. If you paid it, or in this case the seller/shipper declared it, this would be much less of an issue. I am not going to read the old thread again, but if I remember right he paid over $100 for shipping on top of the cost of the calipers. An extra $8 is all it would have took to declare the full value of the calipers. That's really pocket change compared to the total amount lost.

he didn't pay insurance and there were too many loose ends on what happened when the package actually arrived.

Frankly, I'm sick of this thread. We're not investigators on S2Ki, but I do believe in using the site to right a wrong.......

BUT

.......I just don't know how this wrong can be righted

If something doesn't come to the fold soon, this thread will be closed.
