Talking DREAMIN' UP THE FUTURE S2K!

Sup peoplez, I'm an auto design student dying to find out about the S2000 from the owners' perspective. I'm dreaming up the future S2000 and I'm all ears about what YOU think will help improve on the current car, especially the interior and practicality side. Any problems with the current S2K? For example:

1. any major overall problems/inconvienences with your s2000
2. how is the interior space? too cramped? please note your approx. stature
3. your opinion on the storage space/compartments
4. problems with the top
5. problems with enter/exiting car
6. safety/comfort
7. fuel efficiency

Any comments/topics will surely be benificial. Your opinion will be taken into deep consideration when designing this future s2000. I appreciate your help!!!lets DREAM!

i dunno, i think the car's almost perfect as it is. my only suggestions would be to update the looks and the power. the current car looks great on some angles (standing & close-up), and not-so-hot on others (far away head on or directly at the side). personally i think 240hp + current gearing is great for the street, since you can still wind through a few of the gears and not break the law by too much...but of course, if honda wants to compete they'd have to up the hp/torque.

interior and practicality? hmm. better color for the guage cluster? and a personal robocop to stand watch over the car when you park it outside for peace of mind.

Bit more power would be nice to keep with the times.

The only thing that I really hate is that the car was never offered with side airbags, which kind of bugs me when they are a $500 option offered for a civic. Aside from that, if they made the car a coupe it would be nice, but a hardtop solves that problem.

Lighter weight. In between a Elise and MX5. Lets say 2200 lbs and
perhaps fiber reinforced plastic to save on cost?
Next Gen 2.0 - 2.4 I-Vtec w Direct injection. Magnesium Block/head.
140 hp/L redline @ 10k rpms.
Carbon Kevlar/Carbon fiber Bucket seats.
Real cup holders.
Real Stereo
Lower stance 48" or less
Better fuel economy (should at least be able to beat a vette)
More curves than the somewhat generic styling it has now.
Real aluminum trim. None of that fake ass plastic paint crap.
Proper soft top that hides the convert top when down. (like every other roadster nowadays).
One touch windows / soft top.
Power lock and unlock
Heated seats and air scarf option
navi option in all markets
More reliable diff/ tranny.
keyless ignition push start
40-50k pricing.

Isnt it wonderful the Power of Dreams?
There is always room for improvement and no car is perfect.

I would like more space behind the seat, so I can lean back further and put some storage back there. Navi in the US!! Like others said real cupholders, 18 inch rims with polish lip, more power, more gas mileage, lighter car. Lose the spare tire, and Hardtop convertible..
