The S2000 isn't hard to drift because it doesn't have enough power, it's because the stock suspension is designed to understeer at the limit so normal drivers don't kill themselves at every turn. It takes more than just stomping the gas to get the rear to break loose. And even high torque cars aren't easy. I've seen countless domestics understeer through cones at the track. Properly setup suspension will turn the S2000 into a drift machine...all those revs would be a good thing.

Drifting is about technique, not power. There does come a point were you'll need more power, but that's usually not until you start thinking about shifting into 4th gear

P.S.... drifting isn't that hard to learn, like everything else, it's hard to master. And just a personal opinion, you're not really drifting until you starting connecting turns and transitioning. Oh, and learning to drift on public roads is gay..stop endangering yourself, others, and other's property. Go to the track and break your car there.

anyone can drift...the hardest part is just going out and doing it, but once you start doing it the basics are very easy to get down......as soon as i get some one to video me ill show you all what about 7 months of hardcore practice can do for yah..................i was told that i should take out my CDV why? i really see no reson, i can still shift kick...so if i take ot out what can that do for me????

a shift kick is when you press the clutch and releasing it suddenly (the kick) on approach of a corner................... or you could use it mid drift so it provides a sudden burst of power losing rear traction....And the scandinavian flick (feinting) is like throwing the car to the outside of the corner.... before you turn into the corner and it carries the weight of the car to the outside of the turn allowing the drift to begin.
