i heard in thr 5th stage tak may be driving the S!!!! could just be anime hype thow i dont imagine him giving up the 86....but who knows
The way the battle went, and how Takumi recognized the strengths of the S2000 as he battled it, I thought this would be the point where he would move on and replace his AE86 with the S2000...the S2000 is the perfect car for Takumi to replace the AE86 with and still allow the him to demonstrate his talents against since the S2000 isn't the glory of all HP, torque, turbo, and AWD couterparts that are out there.
I was looking forward to it...if the writers have him adopt the S2000 the anime would be able to grow with more battles featuring newer cars...as the S2000 in a way is kind of the next AE86...an underdog against Turbos, AWDs, and higher HP cars.
After the driver of the S2000 took him out for a ride I thought he was going to offer his car to Takumi since he was more a senior guy now and maybe was going to retire and saw potential in Takumi. Then the episode ended....
Definately my favorite episode.
i wish some of you guys were from chicago...it would be cool to go drift with someone that was into like i am........................and the last episodes were good but i still think the battle between the GTR and FD was better

anyone can drift...the hardest part is just going out and doing it, but once you start doing it the basics are very easy to get down......as soon as i get some one to video me ill show you all what about 7 months of hardcore practice can do for yah..................i was told that i should take out my CDV why? i really see no reson, i can still shift kick...so if i take ot out what can that do for me????
Trust me, you can learn to drift figure eights around a couple pylons in less than an hour.

It won't take you seven months if you practice regularly. When Jamey went to his first drift event last year all he spent more time spinning out than drifting, but he practiced constantly, and by his third event (three months later) he was good enough to start making the finals and putting together the CCR drift team. The key to learning quickly (just as with autocrossing and racing) is to get some good instruction, as early on as possible.
