SouthEast Drift Association.

Later this month our region of the SCCA will be putting on the first ever SCCA "Solo Drift" competition, and if we don't blow it the SCCA may soon be holding events all over the country. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

The current SCCA solo drift rules are posted here.
(Assuming that Jamey has kept them up to date.)

Skip down to sections 5 and 6 to read the driver and car requirements.

Basically, if you're 18 and have a safe car you can enter the events.

As far as classing cars go, I have enough trouble figuring out the SCCA Solo II rules.
(If you don't know your class just ask someone when you get to the event.)

Basically you just register and then show up with a safe car. You don't even have to be a member of the SCCA.

I asked Alex Pfeiffer the same question. According to him, the hardest part was the power steering pump. I haven't actually done it myself, but there was a lot of fabrication on Alex's car.

Or not.

I'd tell you what I thought of it, but my mama told me that if I couldn't says something nice I shouldn't say anything at all.
