Has anyone really gone out and drifted in the MY07 or done any of the tricks outlined in the Drift Bible? I am interested in trying these things out and would like to hear the experience of others

 

I was under the impression that without some major fuse pulling or something its difficult to get the VSA disabled enough for drifting.

Besides, if you want to drift you're better off not destroying your 07 and getting a car better suited for drift like a 240sx

 

Im looking forward to taking the car out to track days and such, and ive seen AP2s drifting although not at very aggressive angles. I was just wondering if anyone has or can do it with all the drive by wire systems that are in the car now.

There is a button to turn the VSA off, not so tricky.

I'd like to learn, but not until I can afford tires, and to fix anything I bust

 

 

Porque? I was only asking if it was possible / if anyone has done it? What is all the anticipation for????

 

Ofcourse you can drift it, you just have to know what your doing!

 

During many auto-x event this past year i was able to get my 06 to drift at almost full lock and still be able to pull it back a time or 2. That being said, instigation of the drift was not done on purpose, but rather my inability to keep the car going around the turn with the rear tires following the fronts. I never had any problems with the vsa being i turned it off, but on one ocassion when i managed not to save it, the car did spin quite abbruptly and both the vsa and abs lights came on. Simple driving arround the pits at a normal speed the lights went off and everything was back to normal.
