I was under the impression that without some major fuse pulling or something its difficult to get the VSA disabled enough for drifting.

Besides, if you want to drift you're better off not destroying your 07 and getting a car better suited for drift like a 240sx
So true!! are you made of money??? because taking a practially new S2000 and running the piss out of it makes no sense to me? why not a 240sx,AE-86,Miata,AP1 s2k with higher miles, anything that you can make a secondary vechicle. Drifting with your daily driver may cause you to run into issues making it unreliable

Ofcourse you can drift it, you just have to know what your doing!

add a bunch of HP, waste of tires and you go slower around corners. showing off can be very expensive.

Somewhat of a vague question. Anyone can drift ANY car, but you just have to know how to do it. The 07 S2000 should be no harder or easier than any generation S2K.

If I find an empty parking lot after a fresh rain I have a bad tendency to uh.... have a little fun with VSA off

Of course you can drift a MY07 S2000. One of the main reason I bought my S is that I could drift it.
RW+LSD+VSA OFF=Drifting=Fun=Crazy------->Dangerous=Crash=waste of perfectly good sexii car. LOL
But of course I mostly see the left part of my equation.
Just dont over doooooo it or youll DIE! hehe

You can do it, but not like the picture above without lots of modifications and not just to the motor. Basically take what Honda created...reverse engineer it to do the opposite of what it was designed to do, add FI and have lots of fun.

I would buy a car better suited for drifting like a 350Z, 240 or something like that and not have to worry as much about hitting things or destroying a brand new car.

Good Luck and be safe

Look up Keiichi or The Drift King. That man gets anything sideways. s2000s, NSXs, you name he's done it. Best driver alive.

What's the point of drifting for nothing?

to do it well, youd want to heavily modify the suspension, as the tuning in a stock s2000 is awful for drifting. you could probably buy a 240sx as a dedicated drift car for less money than it would cost to do it right on the s2000.

on the other hand, if you just want to slide around and dont mind beating on the car some, just buy some cheap, hard, narrow tires for the rear and leave the front ones alone. turn off vsa and youll slide around everywhere!
