i say it's what you make of it.
but i would change the steering rack and the rear differential before I do anything serious with it.

but for fun, you could still do it. Just need to learn to do it how the car allows you to.

It's important to remember that drifting is a judged sport, much like figure skating.

it can be done in the s2. but it takes a lot of skill, and if your just starting off you will probly get discouraged. find a buddy with a 240. then move to the s2. or do like i did start with the s2 and then find a 240 buddy lol

Is there a point in doing anything, for nothing?
What's the point in getting a private pilots license, climbing mountains, skydiving, and scuba diving?
I don't know how many times in my life I've said, "There is no such thing as a stupid question."
Is it possible that I was wrong?

Just as a side note, a wet asphalt area would be a good place to learn and would be
"less" stressful on your vehicle.

i have to say, I was anti-drifting like many of you. I started off doing grip driving, auto-x and road racing, but more and more I try to do little here and there, I find that drifting is a whole another animal.

If you could respect driving abilities, you could respect drifting. If you haven't done it or if you've failed doing it, you would say that it's stupid, but once you've got the taste of it, it's irresistable.

It's so much fun and it does take a lot of skills to drift like the pros like the figure skating or road racing, or any other sports.

I think most of you could enjoy like more from being more open minded.

I have. More I drive, more I love driving.

one more thing. Trying different things aren't the worst thing in the world. If you just keep auto-xing or road racing only or drag racing, isn't that as same as having missionary style sex for all your life. You know, there are other fun and exciting positions that your gf or one nighter girl could enjoy as well as you do, you know.
