Drilled is better, from what I've been told by some "brake experts" as they won't wear your pads down as quickly (among other reasons). It's one reason why Porsche and other high-performance cars come stock with drilled rather than slotted or drilled/slotted rotors.

So, if you can stick with drilled only. I'm sure there are some knowledgeable people on the site that can give you more info as well.

no slotted are better...

Drilled no longer carry the function they use to. They use to make drilled because old pads use to emit gas which created space between pad and rotor if the rotor was flat. Reason why drilled rotors were developed was so the holes let the gas escape. But today's brake pads do not emit gas.

so then why are slotted better? slotter rotors litterally "SHAVE" a micro layer off the pad each time it passes and keeps the pads surface even...(simple way of speaking)

how much does this affect the wear of pads?.. I cant say for sure but not enough to make a big diffrence. I had slotted rotors on my Supra for 40K and the brake pads still had more then 1/2 left..

Structurallly driled/slotted are weaker.. drilled more so. drilled now is just for show nothign more...

So in conclusion.. if you want the looks go for slotted/drilled combo.. If you want to race.. then go for slotted...

these are drilled and slotted from spugen-
mine were installed "backwards" (not as aggressive) cause i am more interested in the looks (wanted to get rid of the rust!) than in the performance. they stop at least as fast as the stockers, but wouldnt be any good for the track cause they would likely crack under severe heat:

fwiw i personally havent seen them crack, but all the hardcore track guys always say stay away from drilled rotors, they are more proned to cracking.
