Alright the claims adjuster saw my car today and wants to repair it for 11k. I told them to take it to D&V autobody which im so glad i did. the shop is a three bay add on to there house and is fmaily run for 30 years, really nice guys. After talking to him he thinks it will defenetly be totaled and I told him I would like it to be. I don't want a car thats going to be worth nothing after all that work. My car is worth 22k according to insurance, which is more than I paid so things are not all bad. I will here from D&V tommorow with their estimate.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt,
Are those the guys in Chantilly just off the South-East end of South Riding on Herndon Ave? I pass by there all the time and I was wondering how the service was there. I do hope for your sake they total it. Keep us posted.

Ummm, try not to do it again. I totalled a Supra at 15 and it was my last. Hopefully you'll learn the same respect as I did.

Cheers and good luck with that insurance company.

-cthree, yea thats them right off Herndon ave. Defenetly some good guys. I talked with Kevin yesterday and he is the son of the owners. I drove past it twice yesterday. I was expecting some big shop but they just run it out of there house and they have a deep three bay shop next to their house.

Well my mother did. Let us just say I had a sore bum after that incident. The cops and the insurance company weren't all to impressed either.

Wow!!! Sounds all too familar to me! I lost the rear end of my car about a year and a half ago, after running off the road, and ended up not being able to regain control and flipping end over end. My air bags didn't deploy either, and I was left with amnesia and a severe concusion.

Not enough frontal impact on that one to deploy airbags either. Sorry about your injuries.
