Default Driving Gloves

Hey folks,
With the recent thread on driving attire, I for one now have a question. I am pondering the thought of purchasing some "driving" gloves. How many of you use such accessories? Which brand/style do you use? Are just the regular leather gloves from a leather store not good enough?
Anyone know where I can get some Yellow racing gloves to match my Spa Yellow?

Tips, suggestions or advice appreciated.
Asif

Dave,
Yes, I was joking about the yellow ones....hee hee hee
Actually, we got the Kevlar ones supplied to us at work as well. Although, I'm not sure that I want to touch the wheel of the S2000 after some of the things I touch at work
I will try out all your various suggestions though.
Thanks kindly
Asif

I wear the ones from BMW.....i use them for both my E46 and my s2k. It looks really sporty....plus that damn shifter gets hot too.

Try a bandana as well too. Gives you that rugged, sporty look.

I had posted another thread on driving with leather gloves as well. I have a pair of "Coach" leather driving gloves and I like these gloves. It offers a little added grip to the steering wheel and shift knob. Good for those hot sunny days also. My question is " does it look ridiculous seeing someone driving with a pair of leather driving gloves?" Try looking into E-bay, that's where I got mine. They have leather driving gloves as well as Nomex lined gloves for racing. Or try http://<a href="http://www.racerwhol...lesale.com</a>

I drive top down all year round and the last couple of months have been pretty chilly so I bought a pair of thin leather synthetic lined dress gloves (no brand name). They are brilliant.

They offer excellent feel and they really keep my hands warm. They are so good that I decided to use them at my last track day (I usually don't bother with gloves at all) and they proved to provide better grip in extreme driving conditions.

My vote : two thumbs up!

I have a pair of black leather gloves with a thinsulate lining for the cold morning drive. I think I picked them up at Foley's last year. They are essentially my winter gloves.

I also have a pair of black leather motorcycle gloves that I have yet to try while driving the car. They should work pretty well, as they kick ass on the bike.

By the way, where can a pick up a pair of the kevlar lined cop gloves?
