Shift at 4000rpm. This way you'll always stay between 3000-4000rpm

shift to 2nd ~30kph
shift to 3rd ~50kph
shift to 4th ~60kph
shift to 5th ~70kph
shift to 6th ~80kph

I have always been wondering, which gear is the proper gear to drive in, at which speeds? More city driving I am talking about. I have never owned an import car in my life until this one, and so I dont have many ideas on which gear is best, or if the higher gears will hurt the engine cause its working too hard.
Depends on the specific situation. There are plenty of guidelines you can use but no hard and fast rules. Play around and find what works for you. Import versus domestic is irrelevant.

Typically, 3-4K for me.

I have read this before, and tried it for 4-5 tanks of gas... got consistently 2-3mpg less cruising around 3.5 and shifting in the 4-5 range than cruising in the 2.5-3 range and shifting in the 3.5-4 range.
Well it depends on your average speeds. For instance there is no need to keep the rpms over 3,000 if you are just driving in town in traffic at speeds under about 40mph. When I'm in town and don't need to accelerate I am typically cruising around 2,500rpms at 25-35mph, also when going faster but going down a hill I will shift in to 6th gear even at 45 mph, downshift to keep the rpms above 3,500 anytime I go up a hill.

I consistently get 25 - 28 mpg driving to work and around town and 30-33 mpg all highway at 70 mph in 6th gear.

this is closer to what I do... I only manage an avg of 23mpgs mixed but I do a whole heck of a lot of VTEC and normally cruise at higher than 70 on the hwy and get dispatched for fires (vol. firefighter) and VTEC all the way to the firehouse as well as a host of other things that hurt mileage... but when I was testing driving techniques I got 26sh driving like you and 23-24 never letting it below 3k.
