Dunlop wintersport m3s on stock ap1 wheels. Got up plenty of steep hills in 4 inch of snow with a layer of ice.

Seems like such a simple concept to me.

That's exactly what I have. No spinning, and they're great in winter rain too.

With my snow tires I go through snow storms, ice, up snow covered hills, etc... with no problems at all.

vsa: vehicle stability assist. It utilizes brakes, dbw throttle, and the lsd to determine which part of the car is losing control and corrects them. Personally i care about the ap2 upgrades 1/10th as much as i do about the vsa. it saved my ass more than 10 times and the freedom to turn it off completely is such an amazing feature. it does one hell of a job of saving your ass too in slippery and thinking-you're-a-badass-taking-turns-at-60mph situations.

If VSA has saved your but 10 times already, I think its time to re-evaluate your driving style! Like woodson said Physics will win.
As for snow, dunlop M3s + VSA = no worries in just about any winter conditions without clearance issues

As laguna2s2k said, stop driving like an idiot before you hurt yourself, or worse, others. Save it for track days.
