I think a lot of people misread the original post. The OP was on Goodyear F1's - these are a SUMMER ONLY tire. Thats why he wasn't able to go up any inclines - I'm surprised he made it home in one piece.
The the original poster - please DONT drive you car in these conditions with winter tires. It will only lead to the demise of your S2000. For winter driving get....WINTER tires.

the stock tires on the '04s suck in the snow. i have all seasons on now and the car is relatively fine in the snow...it's no fj cruiser though
