with the reflash on the 06 with a header it drops the vtec engagement point to 4200 rpm, i am sure you can stay in that new window. lol

It is not hard to stay in VTEC through shifts. The only thing I can say is that you are not shifting at the proper point, causing you to drop out of VTEC.

Trust me, it can be done and has been done in AP2's.

I know that on the VAFC's there are separate settings for VTEC engagement and disengagement.

Is the factory disengagement point exactly the same as the engagement point? I would think that Honda would be smart enough to have the disengagement point just a tad lower so that people don't accidentally fall out of VTEC.

You should learn how to shift;
You're too slow,and,when you'll be fast enough,you're gonna be too old.!!!

ive been trying to tell people that ap2 always drop out of vtec. not much you can do except swap to a ap1 ecu. you guys who claim it, check the spec ratio sheet. ur doing the impossible or are mistaken about something.
Wrong with regards to an 06. Shift @ 8k in first rpm's drop to approx 6200, still well with in vtec. Same for 2nd to 3rd.

I got out of my car five minutes ago...shifted at redline twice and didn't drop of out vtec.

I removed my CDV if it makes any difference...although it shouldn't.
