Cool Drove an S for the first time today!

I finally got to drive an S for the first time today. I work for a Honda dealer and they had an S that needed an inspection and I was told to go get it, so....I innocently went and got it. Needless to say they didn't do the inspection as soon as they hoped. My eyes are now firmly set on getting this car, now where did all my check book go?

Dont you love the way Honda reps even tell us that they check this cars limits when they have to drive it for inspection?

Great..now I am sold on not going to the dealership for any type of work. Thanks. You confirmed all my fears.

This ain't like when we were kids.

When it comes to 6-9k rpm fun with our cars, we don't like to share. Especially if it isn't broken in yet.

Of course NONE of the posters above have EVER taken a test drive that involved anything not recommended by the owner's manual during break-in.

I know if I am going to buy a car, I am going to drive it. When I bought my S I told the seller how I was going to drive, and he chuckled, then I put him in his seat. I did not get too crazy and did not do anything to hurt or endanger anything or anyone, but I am sure he was a little uneasy a few times during the test drive.

Cant believe Honda dealerships condone this type of behavior.

Good for you that you got to drive an S, but like many of us wait untill you can buy one, instead of having a "joyride" with someone elses S.

This just serves to confirm all those nightmarish stories about dealers and their so called workers.
