Default Dyno Day Results

Well I just got back from a successful dyno day with my car group and some people from these forums.

My s2k with the mods listed below made a peak 198.4 HP and 138 TQ and the other s2k with the 00 ECU and with the same power mods I have made 198.4 Hp but 134 TQ; not to much of a difference between the ECUs. I'll defiantly be picking up a VAFC II one of these days and get some tuning in; I have to break 200!

My dyno chart is as follows:

I didn't ask what stock s2000s made so I don't have much of a base line, I am assuming around 190-195

The highest HP for today was the SRT-4 with 124 and the highest TQ was my friends mustang GT with 260 TQ. The tuner said if he put his cats back on he would gain another 30 TQ without any HP loss!

I have to thank Crazy Horse Racing in South Amboy for giving us a good group deal on the dyno time! We'll defiantly be back for more dyno days and tuning! If you want to set up a day of your own the number is on my dyno sheet

Numbers aren't bad, those are pretty typical. Your exhaust and intake won't change your car's dynamics more than 1 or 2 +/- horsepower, so it's basically stock. A VAFC should bring you up another 7 or 8 peak, and probably 10-15 midrange, especially cleaning up that nasty VTEC spike. Also, expect around 20 hp gained above 8300 rpms.
