Default Dynoing my 03 Honda S2000

Hey guys, today I am going to dyno my car at 7pm... and just wondering some stuff on where my hp rating would be around? My car is bone stock and has 9600 miles on it. Should I take off the intake cover or should I leave the cover on it? It is going to be dynoed on a dynojet and in 4th gear. If any S2000 in Atlanta want to come down and have time. Come down to Armour Drive, the dyno is going to be held at batlground.

Sorry, I tried to do a search but couldn't find much.

Thanks
-Alan

hey Alan,

Where is batlground? I've never heard of such a place. It must be one of those rundown shops that let anyone dyno their cars. Are you sure you didn't mean Battleground? Anyways, where did you get the idea of taking off the intake cover would give you any gain? Honda put a cover on the intake for a reason, so why take it off? Are you going to be driving the car without the cover on there? You make no sense there buddy.

Well, I didn't think that taking off the cover would give me more horsepower driving around. Since they had a fan up against my air filter I thought it would be best to take off the cover so it can have direct contact with the air coming out of the fan. There website is www.batlground.com you can check it out if you want. Sorry for not making sense, hopefully this clears it up.

You should get around 200 on the dynojet.

200-205 whp is average for the 02-03 s2000s(due to the revised ECU).
