where could i get a new e brake cable. Preferably a more heavy duty one because my wheels dont lock when i try to use it for drifting.

It should lock if you yank quickly and all the way up. Not doing so will result in crappy drifts in any car.

if you're using the ebrake you're not drifting, you're just yanking the ebrake.....

but if you must do it then i suggest either tightening the cable you got or learn to yank the E with more sudden force. i think the e-brake is designed to not cause you to lock up if at all possible unless you really yank on it hard.

 

naaaw d00d. A lot of professional drifters are using the ebrake to start their side nowadays. It's the easiest way to start the drift, and once you release the ebrake, you can continue with using other techniques like power over and such. The important aspect is maintaining a high rpm along with throttle control after the ebrake it released.

Ebrake yanking on a FF for sure is just a spin. In an FR, depending on how long and how much you turn the steering wheel, the ebrake could produce a variety of tricks.

Hence, don't hate the ebrake.


Also, I haven't seen a drift button that fits on the S2000 yet. Cusco seems to make drift buttons for a lot of cars but our car. Hmmm...

 

to bad you dont drive an ap1, a simple lift of the throttle in a turn will earn you some oversteer
