Default E-Brake Question & Shuddering at low RPMs

I have just two quick questions:

1) Yesterday I was parked at a gas station. When I was finished I started to pull away from the pump but felt the car spudder and stall. I then realized I forgot to take off the Emergency Brake . My question is what kind of damage can that cause on a rear wheel drive car?

2) When either going in reverse or sometimes going very slow in first (exp. parking lot) I get a vibration and shuddering from the car. It seems to be from the engine area. I am new to driving standard and have been getting much better over the past couple of months but once in a while this will happen and I was wondering what it is that is causing the shuddering and if it is something that can cause any damage. I know it is user error not the car but I just want to make sure I'm not ruining anything.

One other thing, I bought a 2001 Grand Prix White with red and black inside. It had 4,033 miles on it and came with the hard top, front spoiler and wheel locks. I paid $30,500 for it in June of this year and was wondering if that was a good price for what I got.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

P.S. This is a great forum

1. No damage. Leaving it on for a long time can ruin your pads and warp your disks (and -- in the worst and unlikely case -- lead to a hub fire) but you're not even close to that.
2. Over time this will damage your clutch. But you're likely still OK. Use a little more gas or slip the clutch a little. The shudder is because the engine revs aren't high enough. Please practice first so I'm not the blame for backing into something but what I'm telling you is correct. This is common when learning to drive a clutch.
