Easy way to lower the seats?
Hey all,
I just picked up an S2000 (silver with red interior) - I went in to test drive a Prelude and ended up test driving this instead. Driving it was such a blast, I bought it on the spot
In any case, I'd like to find a way to take the back end of the driver's seat down an inch or two if I can. At 6'4", I'm a little big for the car. While I can actually drive it comfortably, my head's a bit above the roll hoops and the windshield frame is a little low in my vision. Yeah, I know it's a little silly to be squeezing into a roadster, but what can I say, I love sharp handling sports cars and there aren't many that are much bigger.
Is removing some of the seat padding possible and recommended? Is there a way to drop the back end of the seat rails without compromising safety? Failing that, is there a good set of aftermarket seats that would be lower (although it seems a shame to replace the stock ones).
Thanks for your input...
Jason

Jason, don't know how much money you can afford to spend, but Mugen's seats are supposed to help you lower the position.

call up Scott at King Motorsports, they've got some awesome customer services.
That's the best way to lower your seating position.
