Default ebay bastards!!

I was watching a turbo kit on ebay for the S2000 for 2 days. I just bid on it 30 minutes before the auction ended. It was a Spark Racing turbo kit. My bid, the highest with 10 minutes left was $2,025 About 8 minutes before the auction ends, the seller cancels the auction and I get some gay message from ebay saying the seller cancelled. HOW GAY. I'm pretty pissed...a deal like that isn't too likely. put a RESERVE next time a-hole! -Chris

I saw a post on another board about a guy selling a turbo and how he was pissed off at all the cheap bastards waiting until the last minute to post lowball offers.

Seriously, there are plenty of turbo kits and the like on ebay that you can win for around $1500-2000. Whether or not you'll see the product or your money again is another question.

Yeh well after the auction ended, he put a "buy it now" for $4900. Then pay $100 shipping? I'd rather get it from the official website, who knows if it's even a full kit... learn how to use ebay.

Some EBay vendors are very legit and I've had tremendous customer service from
them but some vendors and individuals tend to price their items too low without a reserve, thinking
they will have no problem selling it for a great price and when it gets down to crunch time and
the bids are VERY low (without that reserve), they freak out...don't want to give it
away and cancel. These folks need to start using either buy it now or a reserve auction.
If you're paying $2K for a turbo kit, chances are it's a piece of crap.

I have seen lots of ebay auctions that claim "no reserve".... i like to watch the interesting ones.... a decent amount of the time they get ended early...... the seller is just not willing to take the risk of the car / item not getting high enough.

I agree... use a reserve..... but "no reserve" usually draws more bidders....

The kit is legit. It is made by Spark racing. If ya go to spark racings
web site you will see they are legit and make alot of goodies for various cars. I believe they even build up engines. So The quality of the kit is probably pretty good. The Photo the seller has is no stock photo either.
