Default Effects of rain soft top????

Since I live in Southern Cali, its not an really big deal, but for those who live in wetter climates, has rain had any adverse effects on the soft top?? It seems to repell water pretty well when washing, but I'm wondering what effects, if any, a steady downpour would have.

Anyone suffer leaking????

It gets wet!

But no leaks, no deterioration, after a lot of Seattle daily driving in all kinds of weather.

I think the sun is much harder on the top than rain.

Not a drop gets in- best top in the rain I've seen. My Z3 used to drench my leg half the time it rained,, light or heavy. I keep a cover over the top when it's parked outside at work to prevent sun damage in TX.

Yeah. I just ordered the OEM car cover to protect the top and the paint while it bakes in the california sun during my day at work.
