They should just retire the S2000 name and come up with something totally different. I don't want them to do what Ford did with the Maxh-e/Mustang They can totally totally follow the namign convention and call it an S2024 or something like that, but not S2000.

That's not the naming convention. S2000 = 2 liter engine. Refer to Honda first ever car, and its evolution. S500, S600, S800.

The ap2 (in certain markets) violated the naming convention. Sort of. Could be argued its a rounded off number in 100's.

There will likely never be another s2000 in name, maybe in mission, but not in name….JMHO.

Yup, i know, but how would they even do that with an electric motor? I meant just start it with an "S" rather than name it after a prior model. Use a year, anniversary, power level, something else.
