I hope I don't get shot for this...
But here is another electric solution that may have some merit.

1. It'll work for 15 sec a charge. And how many pounds of "Duracells" will they stuff into your trunk to do this? Remember, it's an 8 HP electric motor. That takes a lot of juice to run.
2. Max. 455 CFM. Go calculate how many CFM our engines draw. It won't boost much even at only VTEC rpm. At near redline, our engine might even suck in more than it can push.

No, no. You see, the loop creates an internal vortex causing the air to spiral hence making the flow faster like a turbonator

I remember this paid TV advertisement for this fan crap you put on your intake and "allegedly" you gain MPG from it!
They had all this testimony and people actually buy it! God bless America and free trade!

Was that oil stuff called Duralon?
There used to be a somewhat more legitimate product called Microlon, that was supposed to teflon-coat your cylinders (and other parts). It was made for the aircraft industry and was quite popular with private aviation for a while. I used it in a couple of cars to no ill effect, and psychologically it made the car a lot faster.
The more recent thing came across as snake oil, though. HPH

I'm a bit vague on the name. Could have been Prolong or Duralube.

It went back quite a few years. I remember the infomercial was a whole 30 minute show about the product paid for by the product pitchmen.
