Default Embarrassing moments thread....

My friend and I we're reminiscing about embarrassing moments that have happened while we have had our cars. That being said I'd thought I'd start off and maybe get some other embarrassing moments from other members. I'll start.

I bought my S2000 about 3 years ago and coming from 3 past Hondas I assumed I knew everything about them. Well after 2 days of ownership I couldn't figure out how to get it into reverse.v So one day after work a co worker needed a ride down the street to her car. I obliged. Now my plan was to just put the car in neutral and let it roll back enough so I can get out of the parking spot. Major fail on that part. My co worker asked why I was in 6th gear?! I told her that I couldn't figure out how to get it into reverse. She then replies and says to push down on the stick shift and into reverse. It was like the heavens we're shining down cause sure enough I was in reverse. SHe then mentioned that her husband had an RSX Type S and that was how to engage reverse. Embarassing non the less.

That's funny because you don't push down on the RSX-S for reverse.

Was at a dairy queen with a buddy. Lots of people were checking out my car and asking me about it and all. Since I have the Ricks "S" badges all around many people don't know what it is.
So I start to leave and some people said rev it up and all. SO I figure what the hell and gun it out from the parking lot and go to shift to second. Damn 1st to 2nd shift grinds sometimes so this time it happened and was soo damn loud. Had like 20 people watching me drive away including a bunch of hotties hahah. Not really that embarrassing but kinda annoying.

The only ones I have had are the 1st to 2nd grinds when trying to pull out fast or race someone at the light...no wait- I am not remembering the 2 times I spun out on the street trying to drift around a corner a bit.
