They built the s-2000 back in the 60's it was hondas first car but they called it the S-200, before that honda just made mopheads and lawn mowers

I think those of us that want Honda to cease production is because that would make our cars more valuable and a collector car. When I bought mine, I felt it was an investment because there were so few being allocated to the US and it wouldn't depreciate like so many other cars do. If you look into Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds, you'll see the S2000 holds its value very well. I hope it continues. Actually, with all of the good reports aboout the car out there, IMHO it WILL be a classic. We just have to take care of it.

I just had a guy check out my car and tell me it's too bad I didn't wait until next year when the V6 version comes out I told him I never would have considered the car if it came with a V6.
