not sure. I did upgrade to the 4-way banjos when I rebuilt mine.

But now I am eating oil like crazy (1- quart at least for every 250-350 miles but I do drive in heavy traffic and a lot highway runs) The theory about my oil consumption is the new banjos pushing oil above my rings.

Down here it seems that a couple are suffering from lack of oil or lack of proper maint. all the engines having problems are above the 55K mark on milage. no '05's or above and only one AP2 if I remeber correctly.

if I remeber correctly the shop has been reporting mostly spun bearings like main #3 and and rod #3 and #4 (good ol #4 piston/cylinder getting no oil = )

we have been looking into a fabricator that is increasing the capacity and output of the OEM oil pump (by up to 30% more) and using a couple on some FI motors to see how they behave.

we will see what happens

I think we need to address this with and OFFICIAL Valve retainer thread! When to change time and mileage wise ????? And oem or Ti ????? For the sake of not having any more blown motors!!!!
