Reason I say is you could do a 2.2 with upgraded dual spring valve springs to bring the revs little higher. AEM tune and you should have little bit more hp over stock with a long life. ;-)
What are dual spring valve springs......? and where can you get em....

I was going to go with a dual spring on my Z06 but sold the car before I had the chance. If there was any failure with that LS series engine it was valve springs. That included built heads too. I didn't want the 918s that everyone tends to get (though they were much cheaper. The dual springs have One outer spring and one inner spring in case the outer one breaks. It's that added security of not dropping hardware down the hole. ;-) I needed that added security. Plus it aids in preventing valve float.

that there is a listing of duals they make.

I notice that they don't list any duals specifically for the honda. However, they do have some D16 springs. Anyways, there is NO doubt in my mind they can custom size the spring so you can run duals. ;-)

Just tell them the OD of the stocker, and cam lift spec. They might want more info (as the should), but that should get you started.

I'm sure there are other aftermarket valve spring manufacturers, but not sure if they make duals.

Good article: http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...es/0508ch_how/

PHR uses them for their 2JZGTE build up:

Eibach also makes duals. They could do a custom job perhaps as well.

My first night out yesterday and the best way to celebrate my "come-back" was with a meeting arranged of our local S2K Club. Great timing I must say.
