Default Engine number, where to find

I know this has been covered, but I cant seem to find the exact answer I'm looking for. I tried the search function too, but no luck...

I don't own a s2000 (yet) but I want to check out the engine number on a used 2002, so I could check to see if it has the updated banjo bolts.

Can I find the engine number easily under the hood, or is it hidden and hard to spot without a flashlight/creeper?

Pictures would be appreciated!

Thanks!
