engine seized?
^^well the guy who towed my car said that hes seen this situation before and that he's always heard that the insurance covers it becuase it happened in a situation that was out of my control...
Sorry for your difficulties.
There have been more than 20 owners that locked their engines with that silly AEM intake.
I am curious, what is it that draws people to that intake?
Sound?
I don't understand.
After you turn the engine over with the plugs out make sure to change the oil and filter.
If there are signs of contamination I would suggest a second oil/filter change shortly there after.

well i didnt buy the intake it just came with the car when i bought it....it really sucks but hopefully my insurance will at least help the cost of replacing the engine if i have to resort to that...
I would be shocked if your insurance covered it. If your car had the stock intake there would have be no shot in hell of that happening. So you would have to really luck out with a dumb insurance adjuster checking it out or just not caring.
Yeah people keep using the damn aem or similar cai. Don't get it. No better gains then a K&N or even just a gutted box with K&N filter but all the risk of hydrolocking the motor.
I would have hydro locked mine many times before if I had an AEM intake or similar.
Good luck!!

Remove plugs, try to save it or start looking for a used motor.
