Engineering firm wants to borrow my S2000

i wouldn't do it along with having some stranger driving my car, the rental they give you will be the cheapest thing they can get from enterprise (read: neon, cobalt, focus). no thanks.

Tell them to go to cars.com, and find one that has been traded, and not sold yet. Borrow one from a dealer, not a real person. There is NO WAY I'd let anyone (especially someone I don't know) take my S for two hours, never mind two weeks.

When my company needs to do some specialized vehicle testing, we normally rent vehicles from dealers -- either new or used cars. You would be surprised how some dealers are willing to rent a 'NEW" car and not ask what will be done with it.

Seems like this outfit would do the same thing.
