Epic tale of death and destruction
Just think how the poor deer felt. There she was, minding her own business, when she heard the roar of Sondra's exhaust and saw the growing glare of the xenons. A monster was approaching at great speed, most likely with her in mind as its next meal. She froze, and then, at the last minute, bolted to avoid the oncoming red behemoth's gaping jaws. In her panic, she rammed the beast in some sort of misguided self-defense. Death came quickly; the red devil was barely scathed.
And we feel sorry for Sondra and Greg? Who will pity the poor, late doe?
Seriously, I'm glad you guys are alright. Too bad Bambi bought it; equally too bad she didn't carry any liability insurance!

Bambi had other ideas.
. Really good writing.Sorry to hear about the deer though.
I bet Charlotte is going to be better than new when she is finally repaired. It could have been worse...
[QUOTE]Just be sure to marinate it first but, as I've said before,
There are two morals to this story:
Don't let Greg drive you car
Don't feel bad about ordering venison
Good to hear your morale hasn't suffered the fate of your car or the deer. At the expense of some time and money you've got a great anecdote.

my condolences sondra. she must have been distracted by your seat covers (if you still have them).
but seriously, i hope things turn out better the next time around. i'm glad both of you didn't get hurt. look on the bright side. you got rid of your vtec withdrawl at least temporarily.

Wow!
Deer usually shut down when strong lights are on them. I was just discussing this with my brother last weekend. He lives in N. NH and was telling me that you are not allowed to use portable lights to freeze deer while hunting them.
It's good to hear that you are both fine. Thank your lucky stars that it was not a direct hit on the center of the car, or for that matter a moose.

Sondra --
Really sorry to hear about this. At least no one was injured, except the deer.
I'm sure your car will look good as new. Seriously, Body Werks has had a lot of practice fixing Greg's handy work. J/K.

My roommate refers to things of this nature as "the work of the car gods." If they don't want you to have your car, you won't have your car. Think of it as being tested for your worthiness to own such a fine vehicle. That was the only way I survived my 4 month abstinence from the VTEC...
I hope that is the last impact you and your car suffer - I sympathize!
